Pig Chef

Pig Chef needs your help protecting his customers from evil vegetables while continuing to prepare his famous stew!

Chop, shred, and spice the evil veggies that enter your kitchen in the manner that Pig Chef desires using purchasable towers.  Be careful, though!  If the veggies enter the dining area or if you add an incorrect ingredient to the stew, you will be one step closer to a game over!

                      

Note: This game was made for the Wowie Game Jam 4.0 and is still a work in progress!

Controls

• Left Mouse Button
  • Purchase towers
  • Add prepped ingredient on cutting board to stew
• Right Mouse Button
  • Sell towers
  • Cancel tower placement
• WASD
  • Rotate tower when in tower placement mode
• 1, 2, 3, 4
  • Change the tower's ingredient target before you place it down
    • 1 => Carrot
    • 2 => Potato
    • 3 => Onion
    • 4 => Cucumber

Rules

• Towers will ONLY attack or spice their target vegetable.
• Veggies can only be spiced once.
• Tower targets and rotation cannot be changed after they are placed.
• Veggies can only be spiced before they are chopped or shredded.
• Selling a tower returns roughly 25% of its original purchase value.
• You win if you complete all of Pig Chef's recipe requests and keep his customers alive until the end of the round.

• False Game Lost States
  • Occasionally, the game will prematurely enter the lost game state.
• Tower Cutting Board Placement
  • In some rare edge cases, the knife and grater towers can be placed with its cutting board on an incorrect tile further away.
